Full job description

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Yard and Stores Manager to oversee the efficient operation of our storage and logistics facilities at the Fivemiletown factory. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of warehouse management systems for manufacturing. This role is integral to maintaining optimal inventory levels, ensuring ensuring materials are securely stored, stock levels are optimized, and health and safety compliance is maintained.

Duties

Manage day-to-day yard activities, including the organisation of storage areas & Stock control.
Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory, process requests from production manager and optimise stock levels.
Follow Machine build schedule to ensure all materials are available at lineside locations.
Adhere to company material control procedures and ensure a high level of housekeeping is maintained at all times.

Skills Required

Proven supervising experience within a warehouse or logistics environment.
Must be computer literate with experience in using ERP & MRP systems
Forklift experience (licence holder)
Be physically capable to carry out manual handling as part of the job
Working knowlege of Health & Safety Procedures within a factory setting

Pay: £15.00-£17.00 per hour
