Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop your culinary knowledge and guest service expertise while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted.
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
Provide attentive guest service, addressing questions and resolving any issues courteously.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities.
Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of tables, service stations, and dining areas.
Follow food safety regulations and proper handling procedures at all times.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required, supporting kitchen staff as needed.
Manage multiple tables efficiently during busy periods by prioritising tasks effectively.
Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance throughout shifts.

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous.
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities.
Good communication skills with a friendly, guest-focused approach.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately.
A proactive attitude towards upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
