Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional service and ensuring a memorable experience for every guest. Your energy, attention to detail, and passion for food and drink will help create a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued and cared for. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a lively environment while contributing to our commitment to outstanding hospitality.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and assist with their food and beverage orders in a friendly, professional manner
Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring presentation standards are met at all times
Prepare simple food items and beverages, including coffee, tea, and light snacks, adhering to food safety standards
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, bar, and service stations throughout your shift
Support with setting up tables, clearing dishes, and resetting areas for new guests
Assist with catering events by providing excellent service and ensuring smooth operations
Follow health and safety regulations diligently, including proper handling of food and beverages

Skills

Previous experience in catering or restaurant service is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of serving techniques and hospitality best practices
Barista experience is a plus, with familiarity in preparing quality coffee and specialty drinks
Understanding of food safety standards to ensure hygienic practices at all times
Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
A proactive team player who is eager to learn and contribute positively to the team environment
