Marble Arch Health is a growing private women’s healthcare business providing specialist gynecology and women’s health services. The business operates across Enniskillen and Galway and is entering a new stage of growth, with increasing clinical activity, insurer engagement, specialist involvement, theatre pathways, and cross-border operational complexity.
Marble Arch Health is now seeking to recruit a Head of Finance for their premises in Enniskillen. As the business continues to expand, we are seeking a senior finance professional to strengthen our financial systems, improve reporting, support decision making, and provide strategic financial oversight to the Directors. The successful applicant will be required to provide strong financial control, accurate reporting, proactive advice, and strategic insight.
Head of Finance – Job Details
Contract: Part-Time, approximately 3 days per week
Location: Enniskillen
Salary: Negotiable; Pro Rata
Main Duties and Responsibilities
· Lead and develop the finance function, providing strategic financial leadership across the organisation.
· Partner with Directors to support decision-making, business planning and long-term growth.
· Produce insightful monthly management accounts, financial reports, and performance analysis.
· Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial modelling.
· Drive profitability analysis across services, locations, and business activities.
· Strengthen financial controls, governance, compliance, and risk management process.
· Lead continuous improvement of finance systems, reporting and operational processes.
· Manage and support finance administration, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and high standards of financial record-keeping.
· Provide commercial insight into pricing, margins, costs, and investment opportunities.
· Build effective relationships with external accountants, payroll providers, banks, insurers and other key stakeholders.
Essential Criteria
· Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent).
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior finance, financial control, or accounting role.
· Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
· Strong understanding of financial controls, governance, and risk management.
· Experience working with directors or senior leadership teams.
· Commercially minded with excellent analytical and communication skills
Desirable Criteria
· Experience in healthcare, professional services, or a regulated environment.
· Experience in a growing SME or owner-managed business.
· Experience of cross-border or multi-currency finance.
