Overview
We are currently seeking a Presser to join our team at a busy hotel laundry facility. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all linens and garments are properly pressed and presented to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain pressing equipment to press linens, garments, and other items
- Inspect items for any stains, tears, or defects before pressing
- Ensure all items are pressed according to established quality standards
- Sort and organise pressed items for packaging or further processing
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organised work area
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Presser in a hotel or laundry setting is desirable
- Ability to operate pressing equipment efficiently and safely
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality pressed items
- Strong organisational skills to manage pressing tasks effectively
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
