Business Administration, Sales, Finance and Operations Support

Role: General Administration Apprentice

Department: Business Administration, Sales, Finance and Operations Support

Location: Foxhills Industrial Estate, Scunthorpe, DN15 8QP

Salary: £16,000 per year

Apprenticeship: Level 2 or Level 3 Business Administration

Working Pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday, in person

About Sealprem

Premier Sealant Systems Ltd, trading as Sealprem, is a UK manufacturer and distributor of specialist sealing products for the roofing and cladding industry. Based in Scunthorpe, we are an established business with a strong reputation for service, quality and technical support.

About the role

We are looking for a motivated general administration apprentice to begin their career in a busy business environment. This role is well suited to a school or college leaver who is organised, reliable, willing to learn and comfortable using computers.

You will be supported by experienced colleagues while working towards a Level 2 or Level 3 apprenticeship, gaining practical experience across administration, sales support, basic finance admin and operational support.

Main responsibilities

· Support day-to-day office administration, including data entry, filing, scanning and document control.

· Use Outlook, Word, Excel and business systems to update records accurately.

· Help with sales administration, including order details, customer information, pricing checks and billing support.

· Support basic finance administration, including invoice matching, timesheet costing and saving finance documents.

· Assist operations with productivity timesheets, work order information and production records.

· Communicate professionally with colleagues, customers and suppliers under guidance.

· Take part fully in apprenticeship training and apply learning in the workplace.

What we are looking for

· Reliable, polite and keen to start a career in business administration.

· Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.

· Comfortable with numbers, written information and computer systems.

· Positive attitude, good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Requirements

· GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths, ideally Grade 4/C or above.

· Good basic IT skills and reliable attendance/timekeeping.

· Willingness to complete an apprenticeship qualification alongside the role.

· Some Excel or previous work experience is helpful, but not essential.
