Administrator

Company Overview

Summary

As Office Administrator, you’ll be the backbone of our office operations -ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll support on finances, manage administrative processes, handle customer and supplier communication, and maintain essential records and systems.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day administrative duties including filing, document management, post, and correspondence.
Act as a point of contact for clients, suppliers, and visitors.
Support the wider team with documentation, and communication.
Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoicing.
Managing purchases of office supplies and support basic procurement for services, or products.
Liaise with external accountants (e.g. invoice tracking, expenses, VAT).
Assist with marketing and HR admin as required (e.g. onboarding documents, social media support).
Maintain a tidy and well-organised office environment.
Provide excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients
Support team members with clerical tasks to enhance productivity.

Requirements

Essential

Proven experience in an administrative, financial or clerical role.
Ability to work independently
Strong organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail
Proficiency in · Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask and work independently in a dynamic environment
Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude

Desirable

Experience in construction, transport or engineering administration

As this role is full time on-site, we do offer flexibility of the 40 working hours per week between 6am - 6pm Monday to Friday.

The working location is not accessible via public transport therefore you must have your own transport

Salary - £26,000 - £30,000 dependent on experience
