Job Description:

As a Dental Nurse with our Dental Practice, you will play a vital role in supporting our dentists and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Assisting Dentists:

· Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures.

· Assist dentists during various dental treatments and procedures.

· Provide chairside support, ensuring patient comfort and safety.

· Handle dental materials and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.

· Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and update patient charts.

Patient Care and Support:

· Welcome and reassure patients, addressing any concerns or questions.

· Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by dentists.

· Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as preparing dental impressions and models.

· Provide post-operative instructions to patients and schedule follow-up appointments.

· Maintain a clean and organized dental environment for efficient workflow.

Administrative Tasks:

· Assist with reception duties, including appointment scheduling and record management.

· Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed.

· Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and practice policies.

· Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and hygienic working environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this role, we are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

· Dental Nurse qualification and registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).

· Knowledge of dental procedures and treatments.

· Proficiency in dental radiography techniques.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

· Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
