The Role

We’re looking for an experienced and driven Kitchen Designer to join our team in our Chelmsford showroom.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you’ll design inspiring, functional kitchens from initial concept through to completion.

You will also be picking up leads from our Ipswich showroom, this means you will have to see customers in the Ipswich area. Travel will be compensated, as per government guide lines.

You’ll be responsible for managing the showroom day-to-day while working as part of a wider, supportive team.

If you’re target-driven, design-focused, and enjoy seeing projects through from start to finish, this role offers real responsibility and variety.

Making the best impression on our customers is important, therefore we expect professionalism and a fresh, smart appearance.

Key Responsibilities

Design innovative, practical kitchens using industry-standard software such as Winner Compusoft, KD (Kitchen Draw) or InSitu
Consult with customers to understand their needs, lifestyle, and budget
Produce detailed plans, technical drawings, and 3D visuals
Manage multiple projects from design stage through to installation
Liaise with suppliers, fitters, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
Take responsibility for the presentation and performance of the Chelmsford Showroom
Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the entire journey
Keep up to date with kitchen design trends, materials, and technologies

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in kitchen design and sales (portfolio required)
Strong knowledge of kitchen design, materials, and installation processes
Proficiency in the design software listed above (training can be provided)
Confident communicator with strong customer-facing skills
Highly organised with the ability to manage deadlines and targets
A keen eye for detail, layout, and aesthetics
Motivated, professional, and ambitious with a team-first mindset
Presentable, fresh, easily approachable, proactive, and always ready for the next challenge
