Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor (SIA) tfor pubs and clubs ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess a valid SIA licence and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, confidence, and a keen eye for detail. This role involves monitoring access points, maintaining order, and providing assistance in line with company policies and legal requirements. The successful applicant will play a vital role in creating a safe environment while delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties

Monitor entrances and exits to control access and prevent unauthorised entry
Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity within the premises
Perform loss prevention activities by identifying suspicious behaviour and preventing theft or vandalism
Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances, ensuring safety for all individuals present
Provide first aid assistance when necessary, adhering to health and safety protocols
Enforce venue rules and regulations courteously but firmly, maintaining order at all times
Record incidents accurately in logs and report any concerns to management
Assist with crowd control during events or busy periods, ensuring smooth flow of visitors
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or hazards

Qualifications

Valid SIA licence is essential for this role
Proven experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or security is desirable
Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques
First aid certification is advantageous but not mandatory; training can be provided if required
Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanour
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Physically fit to stand for extended periods and perform patrols around the venue
