Job Summary

This job role will start off with every Sunday and also most Saturday nights. Likely hours will be 1-8pm Sundays and approximately 6 hours on a Saturday night until lockup which is 1pm

Full training will be provided however you will be working independently on Sundays so a solid background of cocktails is a must

We are seeking a friendly and professional Cocktail Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of cocktails and beverages, providing excellent customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your mixology skills while ensuring a memorable experience for patrons. Previous restaurant or bar experience is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety standards and excellent time management skills.

Duties

Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails and beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
Greet guests warmly, take orders efficiently, and deliver exceptional service throughout their visit
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in compliance with health and safety regulations
Check identification to verify legal drinking age and ensure responsible alcohol service
Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and ingredients
Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the POS system effectively
Engage with guests to promote a friendly atmosphere, upsell drinks when appropriate, and handle any guest concerns professionally
Follow all food safety procedures diligently to ensure the wellbeing of guests and staff

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or food service environments, particularly in bars or restaurants, is highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple orders efficiently
Good time management to ensure prompt service during busy periods
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Personal presentation that reflects professionalism and hospitality standards
