Job Description:

HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver, Ingatestone

Salary – Negotiable dependant on experience

- Experienced tipper drivers - £800.00 - £850.00 per week

- Drivers with no practical experience – full training can be given – salary negotiable

Hours – Monday – Friday. The flexibility to work occasional Saturdays will be required.

Reports to: Transport Manager

Requirements:

Class 2 license Essential
Up to date CPC Essential.
Valid Digi-tachograph card Essential.
You must have no more than 6 penalty points for driving offences and no driving bans.
Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Attention to detail.
Excellent time keeping skills.
View to permanent employment following a successful probationary period.
Health and Safety awareness.

Duties:

Complete vehicle daily inspection sheet and give to Transport Manager.
Liaising with the Transport Manager throughout the day, carrying out the given instructions, precisely, to the best of your ability.
Check goods off with Customers and obtain a signature.
Ensuring goods are delivered in a first-class condition.
Completing all necessary paperwork.
Drive the vehicle safely and in accordance with the law.
Drive within the tachograph law and driver hours limits.
Maintain the cleanliness of the driving cab and vehicle.
Report any accidents, issues as soon as possible and in compliance with the company’s accident reporting procedure.
Attend essential training in order to carry out the driver role
