Job Overview
We are seeking a personable and skilled Mixologist/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for creating exceptional drinks and delivering outstanding customer service in a lively bar environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your mixology talents while ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. Previous restaurant or bar experience is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and responsible serving practices.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent service throughout their visit
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately
Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
Monitor guest consumption levels responsibly, adhering to licensing laws and company policies
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote special events or promotions

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or serving roles is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of drink recipes, cocktail preparation, and presentation skills
Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and measurement of ingredients
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Good organisational skills to keep the bar area tidy and stocked efficiently
Friendly, approachable demeanour with excellent communication skills
A responsible attitude towards alcohol service, including adherence to legal age restrictions and safety protocols
