Full job description

Are you an experienced Dispenser looking for a new challenge? Or do you have solid pharmacy experience as a Counter Assistant or Pharmacy Assistant and feel ready to take the next step into dispensing? Either way, we want to hear from you.

At Borno Chemists Limited, we're a friendly, community-focused pharmacy dedicated to providing excellent patient care. We're looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping people to join our growing team at our Witham branch.

Opening Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 19:00 | Saturday, 08:30 – 12:30

About the Role

Accurately dispensing prescriptions under the supervision of our Pharmacist
Managing prescription queries and liaising with GP surgeries
Ensuring stock levels are maintained and orders are processed
Providing excellent customer service to patients at the counter
Supporting with NHS services (e.g. MURs, flu vaccinations, EPS) where trained
Maintaining accurate records in line with pharmacy law and SOPs

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a dispensing role or relevant pharmacy/counter experience with a genuine interest in progressing into dispensing
NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Pharmacy Services, or willingness to work towards this
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work well within a team and use your own initiative
A caring, patient-focused attitude

Ability to commute/relocate:

Witham CM8 1BA: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

Dispensing: 1 year (preferred)
UK Community Pharmacy: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

NVQ2 in Dispensing (preferred)

Work authorisation:

United Kingdom (required)

Work Location: In person
