Full job description

Chef Manager - Emerson Park Secondary School

Term time only - Monday - Friday

Hours 40 per week

Times TBC

500-600 daily covers

Salary up to £35K

Duties:
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards- Oversee and assist kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking- Ensure proper portion control and presentation of dishes- Monitor food quality and taste for consistency- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines- Collaborate with the chef to develop new menu items- Train new kitchen staff members Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
