Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Hair Stylist to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hair styling, and customer service, with the ability to mentor junior staff and manage salon operations effectively. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your creative talents while delivering exceptional client experiences in a professional environment.

The post can be employed or self/ employed if preferred

Own clientele would be an advantage .

Fridays and Saturdays as a minimum working days

Duties

Provide a wide range of hair styling services including cuts, colour treatments, blow-drying, and specialised styling.
Offer specialised treatments such as hair extensions .
Deliver outstanding customer service by understanding client needs, advising on styles, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling, client consultations, and payment processing.
Mentor and support junior stylists, sharing expertise to foster professional growth within the team.
Assist with store management tasks such as stock control, cleanliness standards, and maintaining health & safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio of work.
Certification or qualification in hairdressing within the industry.
Proficiency in hair extension would be desirable.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members alike.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple appointments efficiently.
A passion for ongoing learning about current trends, techniques, and product knowledge.
A professional attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service at all times.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £150.00 per day
