Key Skills and Qualifications to succeed in this role:
Experience in a warehouse or transport office.
Recognised pass rate for GCSE in Maths and English
Strong admin skills with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in data entry (experience with Warehouse Management Systems, particularly Cargowise, is a plus!).
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
Punctuality, reliability, and flexibility to meet business demands.
Key duties & Responsibilities:
Order Processing: Accurately receipt, process, and update stock inventory within our Warehouse Management System (Cargowise experience ideal!).
Customer Communication: Be the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email, providing ETAs and resolving stock queries.
Stock & Freight Management: Book in inbound freight (containers & trailers), photograph new stock, and handle warehouse receipts.
Transport Coordination: Arrange deliveries with Simarco and third-party couriers, ensuring smooth movement of goods.
General Administration: Maintain accurate records, obtain Proof of Delivery (PODs), and support warehouse operations as needed.
