Has a fantastic opportunity for an Electrician & Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team in Billingham.

ELECTRICIAN / FIRE ALARM ENGINEER

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent employed position; however, we will consider a self-employed arrangement for the right candidate.

We offer a competitive hourly rate, a company van, pension contributions, and 28 days holiday including bank holidays. You'll be part of a supportive, professional team working on a wide range of projects across domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors.

The work will include

· Diagnose and repair faults on commercial electrical systems within multiple sites

· Electrical PPM

· Minor installations and upgrades to commercial electrical systems

· EICR's

· Use your knowledge of regs to complete all work and make recommendations in compliance with IEE wiring regs and NICEIC recommendations

· Completion of certification, reporting and client portal updating

This is a mobile role. Your days will be varied, and you will be undertaking a mixture of electrical works on varied sites. Some days will be testing; others call outs or planned repairs/refurbishment. You will travel across your area and mostly work alone. You will report to our operations team.

Essential Requirements

Minimum 3 years' experience post qualification
Level 3 NVQ Electrical Instillation qualification
AM2 (Achievement Measurement 2)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
2391 is essential, strong testing knowledge is required
Current DBS check or willingness to undertake one
Domestic electrical fault finding with demonstratable evidence
Ability to complete all tasks to a high standard
Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
Reliable, professional, and able to work independently or within a team
Full UK driving licence
Demonstrate a “can do” attitude and be self-motivated

Desirable Requirements (Not Essential)

Fire alarm systems certification
Emergency Lighting
Security alarms
Door access system
CCTV
Supervisor / Management Experience

Pay:- To discuss at interview.

37.5 Hr per week + Callout + Overtime

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £17.00-£25.00 per hour
