About the role

Bidfood Design Studio

The Bidfood design team are responsible for supporting and maintaining the visual brand identity of the company. We work closely with the Marketing and Ecommerce teams to bring campaigns to life, creating engaging design concepts for our business sector. The team also supports the wider business with a broad range of design and artwork needs.

The Role

Working as part of the design studio team and reporting into the Graphic Designer, you will support the delivery of creative design work across the business.

You’ll be involved in a range of projects, including developing brand concepts and logos, and producing artwork for tenders, brochures and business communications. You’ll manage your own day-to-day tasks with guidance from the team, while building your experience and confidence across different types of design work.

This is a great opportunity for a graduate or someone with some initial industry experience who is looking to grow their skills within a fast-paced, in-house design studio.

Please note this is a fixed term contract of 1 year (maternity cover).

What you’ll need for this role

A degree or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design, or some relevant industry experience
A strong working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator (essential)
An understanding of both print and digital design (any exposure to animation or video editing would be beneficial)
A passion for creative design and typography
A good understanding of print processes preferable but not essential
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn

One last thing… Experience within the food industry would be an advantage, but it’s not essential.
