Company Description:

Williams Ridout is a small, established bespoke furniture and joinery company based in North London. We design and manufacture high-end bespoke furniture, kitchens and wardrobes from our own workshop, and carry out the installation of all our work in clients’ homes.

We take great pride in the quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail of everything we produce.

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Cabinet Maker to join our small team and become an integral part of the business.

The successful candidate will be capable of producing a broad range of bespoke furniture to an exceptionally high standard, with precision, accuracy and attention to detail being essential.

You will be comfortable working in a busy workshop environment, operating a range of woodworking machinery and working independently as well as part of a small team.

You will also be expected to read and interpret technical drawings, manage the production of your own projects from start to finish, and assist with the professional installation of our work in clients’ homes.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in high-quality bespoke furniture or cabinet making is essential
Proven ability to produce bespoke furniture to a very high standard
Excellent attention to detail and meticulous approach to quality
Confident reading and working from CAD and technical drawings
Experienced in operating workshop machinery
Ability to manage projects independently from production through to installation
Experience in hand-making bespoke furniture
High work ethic and positive, team-oriented attitude
Punctual, reliable and well organised
Good spoken and written English
Clean driving licence preferred
Professional and respectful when working in clients’ homes

Working Hours:

8 hours per day, Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm or 8am-4pm

There is also the opportunity for overtime, particularly when project deadlines require it.
