Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Courier Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the company's high standards of service. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for driving.

Duties Must have use of a van or large SUV/Estate car to deliver parcels and goods across designated routes

Plan delivery schedules to optimise efficiency and meet deadlines
Load and unload items, mainly small packets 20% large items up to 17kg ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
Verify delivery details and obtain signatures or proof of delivery from recipients and safe place delivery photos
Communicate effectively with manager reporting any issues
Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure safe transportation at all times

Skills

Valid driver’s licence
Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes
Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
Strong organisational skills to manage routes effectively and adapt to changing schedules
Good time management abilities to ensure punctual deliveries in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of local roads, traffic patterns, and navigation tools for efficient route planning

This role is ideal for motivated individuals who enjoy driving and delivering excellent service. Candidates should possess a valid driver’s licence, Permanent rounds available in Paulton, Radstock Midsomer Norton and Wells areas. Opportunity to earn extra income through additional routes

Hire & Reward top up insurance when delivering parcels

Must have a Android or Iphone with data to be able to use our delivery app

Permanent round holders will be required to service rounds 6 days per week

Positions for Saturday and Sundays

Additional opportunity to earn additional income providing Sunday Services

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £15.00-£25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 40 per week
