Overview
We are seeking an experienced landscaper and fencer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various construction and outdoor projects, demonstrating versatility and craftsmanship across multiple disciplines. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse landscaping and fencing projects, contributing to high-quality outdoor spaces for our clients. Duties
- Constructing and installing fences using various materials, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal
- Landscaping tasks including planting, turf laying, and garden design implementation
- Operating hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during construction projects
- Performing carpentry work related to fencing, decking, or garden structures
- Assisting with masonry work such as setting foundations or building retaining walls
- Conducting basic roofing repairs or installations as needed for outdoor structures
- Applying construction painting techniques to fences or garden features for weatherproofing and visual enhancement
- Installing plumbing fixtures or irrigation systems in landscaped areas where required
- Welding and fabrication of customised fencing or garden features to client specifications
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and project specifications
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscaping, fencing, or related construction fields
- Skilled in carpentry, masonry, welding, roofing, plumbing, electrical work, or fabrication is highly desirable
- Proficient with hand tools and power tools used in outdoor construction projects
- Strong understanding of safety procedures when handling equipment and working at heights or around heavy machinery
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret project plans accurately
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Physical fitness to undertake manual labour outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid driving licence preferred for transporting materials and equipment between sites
