Enviromontel

Enviromontel provide and install a wide selection of monitors and data loggers to meet with the exacting and increasingly more diverse demands of our clients and their engineers.

Our highly sophisticated and bespoke flow monitoring solutions provide customers with accurate and timely data gathered from a broad range of technology we are able to install in almost any type of water environment, from sewers and storm pipes to small river channels, reservoirs and culverts.

You will work as part of a small team installing and maintaining flow monitoring and associated equipment in sewers throughout the UK.

Job Description

As a company we run shifts whether this is on days, nights, weekends, we have a requirement where we are looking for individuals who have part time availability throughout the week that can be available for shifts that we offer out each week.

We would fully train each individual which includes accredited courses that are transferable, and you would be paid for the days that you are in training.

We would provide the individual with a shared calendar detailing out the shifts we have available each week, and you would then let us know your availability.

It is important to note that shifts won’t always be guaranteed.

Duties Include:

Installation of flow meters into live sewers– foul and storm water

Making safe entry and exit into manholes, lowering crew members by means of a winch

Cleaning and checking of flow meters in live sewers.

Installation of rain gauges involving working at height

Erect highways signage during works in accordance with Chapter 8

Responsible for health and safety of yourself and others to ensure safe working

General workshop and yard duties where necessary

Requirements

Contracts are nationwide therefore overnight stop outs may be required dependant on your availability – notice is usually given although short notice may be necessary at times. There is additional pay for stop outs.

Ability to enter a confined space is essential – candidate must be physically fit.

Full manual Driving License is a necessity

Drugs & Alcohol testing on Induction

Right to work documentation must be presented at the interview

Salary £15.00ph

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £15.00 per hour
