Operating in Tewkesbury since 1986, we work for some of the leading organisations in the UK. We manufacture products for customers who operate principally in the defence and security sectors using the latest CNC equipment.
We are proud to have an established and family led Senior Leadership Team in place to ensure our operations run efficiently 24 hours a day across our three manufacturing sites in the Tewkesbury area. Our strong foundations and expertise help our team and customers feel confident working with us.
Our current healthy orderbook for challenging prismatic components means that we are adding to our rapidly expanding team within our fabrication and finishing division in Ashchurch, Tewkesbury.
This role will be responsible for:
- Producing components by assembling parts and subassemblies, using a variety of hand tools and equipment for correct fit, function and ultimate compliance.
- Reading and deciphering drawings and assembly instructions, including kitting using parts lists.
- Overcoming and resolving assembly issues, reporting findings to a supervisor to document.
- Conducting quality checks and verifying components, reporting any non-conformances to the Quality Lead.
- General production duties working within Geometric’s staff training matrix.
- Ensuring a clean, tidy and efficient working area.
- Reporting any Health & Safety issues to the shop floor representative or in their absence, to the Health and Safety lead.
- Undertaking any other reasonable tasks required by the company.

- You possess current or previous experience within a similar role in a busy manufacturing environment.
- Previous desirable roles may include being a Toolmaker during your career.
- You are organised, detail orientated and methodical.
- You are a great communicator and work well amongst a team.

- Monday - Friday (we can be flexible with days and working hours for the correct candidate but once agreed, must be set each week).

The Process:
