Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS) is a brand within Stark UK which specialises in providing solutions for our customers in the Public Sector predominately Housing Associations and Local Authorities and maintenance contractors.

A new agreement has just been secured with one of our National Contractor partners which will incorporate a dedicated store located on a new site in Evesham.

This involves providing and managing van stocks and a wide range of building reactive maintenance materials including plumbing, electrical and ironmongery.

Competitive salary – based in Evesham

Hours – Mon to Fri – 7.30am to 4.30pm

This involves providing and managing van stocks and a wide range of building reactive maintenance materials including plumbing, electrical and ironmongery.

We are looking to recruit an Assistant Branch Manager to support the Branch Manager, working within a small team with focus on, stock management, product availability, monitoring van spares, arranging deliveries and overall delivering an excellent service to our client and their tradesmen. A good knowledge of building materials is preferred; this could be from a roofing / plumbing / builder’s / trade merchant / DIY outlet background.

This role is crucial to the performance of this contract, as such we are looking for someone who can provide an excellent customer experience, maintaining strong effective relationships with their colleagues, the tradesman and suppliers. The role will involve, processing customer orders both over the phone, picking items to fulfil customer orders ready for collection or delivery, check incoming stock deliveries and put away in the appropriate area and support with maintaining stock levels and carrying out regular stock counts.

Experience / Skills:

Ideally a background in Building Merchants / DIY or related

Great customer service skills

Some supervisory experience in a retail or merchant environment

A flexible approach to work; happy to support in various departments within the branch

Can build effective relationships with Suppliers

Support with making Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work

Previous forklift experience, although training will be provided

A full Manual (Preferred) clean driving license to support with deliveries using a 3.5t van if required.
