Why this role matters
Gordon Moody is evolving its model to create a scalable, digital “front door” into treatment, built around Recognise → Respond → Recover. Partnerships are critical to this—driving access, demand and income.
This role sits at the centre of that strategy, with clear accountability for delivering growth in referral pathways and revenue. It’s a priority hire, with strong backing from senior leadership and Trustees, and a real opportunity to shape long-term organisational sustainability.
The Role
This is a high-profile, newly created role with strong Board visibility. You’ll lead the development of partnerships that increase awareness of Gambling Therapy, generate referral pathways into treatment, and create sustainable income streams. Working across healthcare, insurance, corporate wellbeing, sport, public and third sectors, you’ll play a central role in delivering our Growth and Sustainability Programme.
What you’ll do
- Develop and deliver a clear partnerships and income strategy aligned to growth targets.
- Identify, secure and grow partnerships across NHS/ICBs, private healthcare, insurers, EAPs, employers, sporting organisations and the third sector.
- Create and optimise referral pathways into Gambling Therapy and treatment services.
- Build compelling commercial propositions for partners, particularly within insurance and corporate wellbeing markets.
- Generate new income streams and diversify revenue beyond traditional funding routes.
- Manage a live pipeline with forecasting, performance tracking and reporting.
- Represent Gordon Moody at senior level, influencing key stakeholders and sector leaders.
What we’re looking for
- Proven track record in partnerships, business development or commercial roles, with evidence of income generation.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to spot and convert opportunities.
- Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders across multiple sectors.
- Highly effective relationship-builder with a proactive, outcomes-focused approach.
- Comfortable operating in a developing function with autonomy and pace.
Desirable
- Experience in healthcare, charity, public sector or regulated environments.
- Exposure to insurers, EAPs or corporate wellbeing providers.
- Understanding of addiction, mental health or gambling harms.
