Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Removal Porter/Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting items safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will ideally possess a valid driving licence, preferably with experience in commercial driving, and be comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting clients with their removal needs.

Duties

Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and personal belongings to designated locations
Assist clients with loading and unloading items, ensuring secure handling during transit
Communicate effectively with clients and address any queries or concerns
Perform heavy lifting tasks as required

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is highly desirable
Proven ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members
Valid driver’s licence suitable for 3.5t vehicles
Experience in removals is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates

This role requires a dedicated individual capable of managing physical demands while maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service standards.

Pay: £115.00-£165.00 per day
