Full job description

We’re recruiting skilled Electricians to join our long-term Ministry of Justice contract, delivering essential facilities management services that keep prisons safe, secure and operational.

This is more than just a maintenance role — it’s an opportunity to build a stable, long-term career while making a real difference in a unique and rewarding environment.

39-hour working week with a structured rota
15% additional allowance for 1 in 3 weekend working
Clear progression pathways into Team Leader and Site Management roles
Full training & development, including support to gain 18th Edition if required

What you’ll be doing

Planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site
Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs
Undertaking electrical testing in line with BS7671
Supporting safe, compliant and secure environments
Working both independently and as part of a wider facilities team

What we’re looking for

Level 2 Electrical Qualifications (or equivalent)
18th Edition (or 17th with willingness to upskill)
Experience in maintenance or similar environments
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
A proactive, safety-focused approach

Its location near Redditch also offers good access to surrounding towns, making it a practical choice for those based in the Midlands.
