Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MIG and TIG Welder to join our team. This role is vital in supporting our mission to provide high-quality welding solutions for medium sheet fabrication projects. Based in the workshop, you will contribute your expertise to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metal components and different metals, according to project specifications.
Read and interpret technical drawings.
Put forward ideas for any design/process improvements
Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality requirements.
Communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress.

Qualifications

Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding. Mild steel, stainless steel, copper and brass sheet.
Ability to read technical drawings and feedback on potential manufacturing issues
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Relevant certifications in welding are preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Comprehensive maths skills for measurements and calculations.
