Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled 360 excavator operator to join our construction team in KT17. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a 360-degree excavator to assist with various excavation and site development tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, experience with commercial driving, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment. The position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects while developing your skills within the construction industry.

Must have a valid CPCS / Npors card and previous experience.

Responsibilities

Operate a 360-degree excavator safely and efficiently across multiple sites in KT17.
Carry out excavation, loading, and site clearance tasks as directed by the site supervisor.
Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on the excavator to ensure optimal performance.
Assist with site set-up and organisation, including moving materials and equipment as needed.
Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and any issues encountered during operations.

Experience

Proven experience operating a 360 excavator in a construction or civil engineering setting.
Strong mechanical knowledge of excavator systems and components.
Valid commercial driving licence, preferably with experience driving lorries or other large vehicles on-site.
Familiarity with health and safety procedures relevant to construction environments.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and adapt to changing project requirements. This role is ideal for dedicated professionals looking to utilise their technical skills in a challenging yet rewarding environment within the construction sector.
