We are seeking an experienced and motivated Marketing Manager to join our expanding team
THE ROLE
- Develop and deliver the company's marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and growth plans.
- Manage and enhance the Briggs Fire & Security brand across all digital and offline marketing channels.
- Create, coordinate and deliver engaging marketing campaigns to generate new business opportunities and strengthen customer relationships.
- Produce compelling content for email marketing, social media, the company website, case studies, brochures and other marketing materials.
- Plan and execute targeted email marketing campaigns to improve customer engagement, retention and lead generation.
- Manage the company's social media presence, developing content that increases brand awareness and audience engagement.
- Oversee the company website, ensuring content remains accurate, engaging, SEO optimised and aligned with current campaigns.
- Monitor and improve website performance, user experience and conversion rates.
- Work closely with the sales and operations teams to develop marketing initiatives that support business development and customer retention.
- Identify new marketing opportunities, industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the business ahead of competitors.
- Manage external suppliers, including designers, printers, photographers, web developers and marketing agencies where required.
- Organise and support exhibitions, networking events, customer events and promotional activities.
- Analyse campaign performance using marketing analytics and provide regular reports with recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring maximum return on investment across all marketing activities.
- Maintain consistency across all company communications, ensuring branding and messaging remain professional and aligned.

Qualifications / Education
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Business or a related discipline D
- Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) qualification D
Experience
- Minimum three years' experience in a marketing role E
- Experience developing and delivering marketing strategies E
- Experience managing social media, email marketing and website content E
- Strong copywriting and content creation skills E
- Experience using CRM systems and customer segmentation D
- Working knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics D
- Experience with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite D
- Experience managing WordPress websites D
- Experience using marketing automation platforms D
- Experience organising exhibitions, events or promotional campaigns D
- Experience within a technical, engineering or B2B environment D
