Squad Coach

Exeter Trampoline Academy
part-time hours per week + approx. 8 competitions per year
Salary: £12.50-20.00/hr (depending on experience)

Exeter Trampoline Academy is an ambitious and growing competitive club with exciting plans for 2026 and beyond. We are expanding our squad structure and are seeking a motivated, team-focused Assistant Squad Coach to help drive standards, support athlete development, and contribute to a positive, high-performance culture.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate coach who wants to be part of a progressive programme with clear competitive goals.

The Role

You will work closely with the Head Coach to:

Assist in delivering structured squad training sessions
Support gymnasts in regional, national and club competitions (approx. 8 per year)
Help implement long-term athlete development plans
Maintain high standards of safety, discipline and professionalism
Contribute positively to the coaching team environment
Support talent identification and squad progression pathways

This role involves working with competitive trampoline athletes across a range of ages and abilities.

Essential Requirements

Minimum Level 3.4 Trampoline Coach qualification with British Gymnastics
Valid safeguarding and DBS certification
Experience coaching competitive trampoline gymnasts
Strong technical knowledge and safe coaching practice
Ability to work collaboratively within a coaching team
Commitment to ongoing professional development

Desirable

DMT coaching experience
Experience preparing gymnasts for regional/national competitions
First Aid qualification
Experience working within a structured squad system
