Lead Coach – Mini Athletics (Weekend Holiday Cover)
Locations: Exeter, Taunton and Surronding areas

Mini Athletics Exeter and Taunton are looking for an enthusiastic Coach to join our growing team, delivering fun, engaging sports sessions for children aged 1–8 years.

This is a fantastic part-time opportunity for someone who wants to develop their coaching experience in a supportive, expanding business.

About the Role

Deliver fun, structured Mini Athletics sessions using provided equipment
Welcome, engage, and motivate children and their parents
Create a safe, positive, and energetic environment
Take responsibility for sessions and supervise children independently
Support the wider team as the business grows

Working Hours

Saturday and Sunday mornings to cover holidays and absence (approximately 16 weekends per year)
Friday mornings are optional
Weekday availability desirable as we expand (nurseries, parties, after-school clubs), but not essential

We’re Looking For Someone Who Is

Passionate about working with and inspiring young children
Confident, energetic, reliable, and organised
Comfortable leading sessions independently
Coaching experience or qualifications are desirable but not required

Requirements

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Paediatric First Aid Certificate
Safeguarding Certificate
Full UK driving licence and access to a car (required for Lead Coach role)

This role has strong potential for increased hours through birthday parties, additional public classes, nursery sessions, and after-school clubs as the business continues to grow.
