Calendar Club is the UK's biggest and best retailer of calendars, diaries and gifts. Between September and January, we open approximately 200 Calendar Club stores across the UK and Ireland and our website trades year-round.
You have an exciting opportunity to work at our head office based in Marsh Barton, Exeter.
As part of the Customer Service/Store Operations Department, you will provide excellent customer service for our customers and operators of our seasonal stores. You will also take phone orders and perform administrative duties to support the Customer Service and Store Operations Manager.
The job requires a balance of first-class communication skills, excellent administration, and the ability to cope with a heavy workload and keep a calm and empathic attitude in a fast-paced customer services department.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to our customers and operators via phone, email, and social media messaging.
- Taking orders and payments over the phone.
- Provide administrative assistance when required.
- Inputting customer and store data into various software systems
- Processing returns.
Skills
- Excellent telephone manner.
- High standard of spelling and grammar.
- Web literate/good at online ordering
- IT literate - Microsoft Word and Excel
- Previous customer service experience, preferably over the phone.
- Good attention to detail.
- A friendly demeanour with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

- Hours 08.30-16.30 Monday - Friday, ability to earn extra with over time, working Saturdays (9am-2pm) will be required on a rotating basis from the 28th November.
- If any holiday is booked between August and January, we must be notified before the interview process. Unless there is an absolute necessity, holidays may not be taken from September until Christmas.
