Who We’d Love to Hire
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about helping our customers to make informed choices, and who can demonstrate two skill sets; technical understanding and sales. Perhaps you have a background in customer service or sales, selling solar or similar technical products. Perhaps you’re comfortable carrying out surveys and using PV design software.
Essential skills:
- Technical sales experience
- Conducting surveys for renewable systems
- Customer service and communication skills
- Organisational and planning skills
- Attention to detail and data accuracy
- Full UK driving licence
- IT literacy (MS Office)
Desirable:
- Proficiency in PV design software
- Knowledge in Electrical regulations, PV technology, system components
- Qualified in Electrical Engineering, renewable engineering or equivalent experience.
Salary will be dependent upon your skills and experience.

What You’d Be Doing:
- Working with the team to meet individual and joint sales & delivery targets.
- Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email
- Liaising with SunGift’s customers, including dealing with queries and making follow up calls after quotations have been sent out.
- Preparing customer proposals for domestic solar & battery installations
- Booking in survey appointments and managing survey calendar
- Surveying property to compose an installation plan
- Designing and pricing initial quotes for customers
- Working with and assisting the project management team to ensure smooth running of domestic installations
- Working with other departments to facilitate the smooth running of projects
