Surf Life Saving GB is looking for a Digital & Communications Officer to support our digital platforms, communications and marketing activity across the UK. Every day, our volunteers, clubs and members make a difference in communities around our coasts and waterways. This role helps ensure their stories, achievements and impact are seen, heard and celebrated.

About Surf Life Saving Great Britain
Surf Life Saving GB (SLSGB) exists to keep people safe on our coasts and waterways, uniting communities to save lives. With over 11,000 members nationwide and clubs from Aberdeen to St Ives, we support lifesaving sport, education, volunteer development and community engagement across Great Britain.
Through inspiring communications, engaging digital content and effective systems, we connect members, promote water safety and showcase the incredible work taking place across our organisation every day.

As Digital & Communications Officer, you'll help tell the stories that bring Surf Life Saving GB to life. You'll create engaging content, support marketing campaigns, maintain our digital platforms and help ensure our members, volunteers and supporters stay informed and connected.
From promoting national events and celebrating member achievements to supporting fundraising and delivering water safety messages, your work will help strengthen our community and increase the impact of Surf Life Saving GB across the UK.
Role Purpose
The Digital & Communications Officer reports to the Digital Manager and plays a key role in delivering Surf Life Saving GB's digital presence, marketing communications and member-facing systems.
Working across social media, website content, email marketing, branding and digital platforms, the role will support the creation of engaging communications that grow audiences, strengthen member engagement and promote the work of Surf Life Saving GB.
The role also supports the administration and development of digital systems including the Member Management System and Learning Management System, helping ensure members, volunteers and staff have access to reliable and effective digital services.
