Saturday Sales Assistant

Due to internal promotion, we are looking for a friendly and reliable Sales Assistant to join our team on Saturdays on a permanent basis.

You will be working with a team that offer knowledge and advice to customers in a busy equestrian retail environment. An understanding of and interest in horses is necessary in order to offer professional customer service. As well as serving, you will be loading feed and bedding into customer vehicles, so you must be physically fit and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Skills:

Excellent customer service skills
Willingness to learn and develop product knowledge
Self-motivated with strong time management
Ability to listen carefully and respond to customer needs
Equine experience/product knowledge

Job Roles:

Assisting customers with purchases in store
Loading feed and bedding into customer vehicles
Operating of stock systems
General shop duties including stock taking, order management and tidying
Answering telephone enquiries
Processing customer orders via telephone and email
