Term: September to August, term time only
Hours: 35 hrs per week
Rate of Pay: £584 per month (plus free on-site accomodation)
Reports to: Head of Sport Science, Head of Coaching and Director of Football
Purpose of Job
To support the seamless running of strength and conditioning sessions for the Elite Football Programme.

Roles and responsibilities
- Leading and supporting gym based athletic development
- Work collaboratively alongside the Head of Sport Science.
- Leading on-pitch warm ups.
- Leading and supporting on-pitch athletic development sessions.
- Leading and supporting junior school football sessions.
- Actively monitoring the ‘Playermaker’ data used by our players.
- Supporting the maintenance of our online learning platform used by players and coaches.
- Support relevant sports science educational programmes to enrich players, parents, and coaches.
- Support boarding staff when required.
General responsibilities
- Ensures the safety and well-being of children and young people at the school by adhering to and complying with the school’s Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy at alltimes.
- Attends training and staff INSET sessions organised by the school to provide a consistent approach across the entire School staff population.
- Work weekdays and Saturday mornings, and occassional evenings for fixtures as required (term-time only).
- Work up to three weeks throughout the year if required during school holiday periods.
- Carries out any other reasonable duties as requested by the Director of Football.
Qualifications (E - Essential; D - Desirable)
- FA Coaching Level 1 or higher (E)
- Working towards a good honours degree on a relevant course (E)
- FA or basic First Aid qualification (D)
- FA safeguarding certificate (D) Experience
- Experience of coaching (E)
- Experience of coaching across a range of age groups (D)
Knowledge
- Conveys enthusiasm, energy and passion for football to inspire pupils (E)
- Holds basic sport science / strength and conditioning knowledge, with the desire to learn more (E)
