Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team at Treelands, near Exeter. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our eldercare facilities and maintaining the high standards our residents deserve. The Assistant Manager will support the management team in delivering exceptional care and service.
Responsibilities

Assist the management team in overseeing daily operations of the care homes.
Support staff training, and supervision to ensure high-quality resident care.
Coordinate schedules and manage administrative tasks efficiently.
Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and company policies.
Foster a positive environment that promotes teamwork and resident well-being.
Handle resident and staff concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the facilities.
Alternate weekends will be required for this position and there will also be some on call overnight duties for emergencies.
Qualifications
Proven management and supervisory experience within eldercare or healthcare settings.
Strong leadership and organisational skills.
Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
Ability to stay calm under pressure and stay positive to support your team.
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance standards.
Outstanding organisational and technical skills.
NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care minimum.
A full driving license and own transport is essential.
