Job Overview
We are seeking skilled Fabricator/Welders to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidates would be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components with precision and expertise, ensuring all work meets quality standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in welding and fabrication, looking to contribute to a dynamic and professional environment.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding, other welding techniques, ieTIG & MMA would be an asset but not essential on various metals, including sheet metal and structural components
Fabricate metal parts according to technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements
Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
Assemble components accurately to meet design specifications
Work with mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety standards at all times
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
Assist in the selection of appropriate materials for each project

Qualifications

Time served in general fabrication and general welding processes
Strong understanding of fabrication techniques involving sheet metal and structural steel
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely
Good mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes
Experience in assembly work is desirable but not essential
Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Relevant certifications or qualifications in welding or fabrication are advantageous

This role requires a dedicated professional with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. The position offers an engaging environment where craftsmanship is valued, providing opportunities for skill development within the manufacturing sector.
