Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Supervisor to join our team in Glasgow. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving sales and managing store operations while upholding our commitment to quality and customer service.
Reporting to the Store Manager the role will include the following duties:
- Day to Day running of the store supporting the Store Manager to achieve goals
- Ensuring stock levels are adequate through the analysis of sales.
- Analysing stock figures and ensuring correct stock files.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with all customers.
- Promoting excellent customer service within store.
- Ensuring the store is presented to the best possible standard through visual merchandising.
- Maximising staff hours and prioritising tasks with regard to time management.
- Recruiting, training and motivating staff and dealing with disciplinary issues.
- Monitoring staff performance and ensuring staff targets are met.
- Monitoring Health and safety procedures within the store.
Ideally the successful applicant will have:
- Previous retail supervisory experience
- The ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent organisation and planning skills
- The ability to identify and resolve customer problems
- A positive/can-do attitude
- Shifts 5 days over 7 to include one weekend day. 40 hours per week
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.95 per hour
