Brocklehurst Nursing Home is currently hiring Bank Health Care Assistants to join our dedicated healthcare team. We are looking for individuals who are flexible and able to work either days, nights or weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist patients/residents with personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
Support patients with mobility and daily activities, promoting independence wherever possible.
Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary requirements and special needs are met.
Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes or concerns to qualified nursing staff.
Provide emotional support, companionship, and reassurance to residents.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided.
Follow infection control, Health & Safety, and safeguarding policies at all times.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Previous experience as a Health Care Assistant or in a similar healthcare role is required.
Compassionate, patient, and caring nature with a genuine desire to help others.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities.
Understanding of Health & Safety and infection control practices.
Reliability, professionalism, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Willingness to undertake further training and professional development.
Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
