Position: Coffee Shop Team Member

Type: Full Time

Hendra Holiday Park is a family-run, five-star, multi-award-winning destination in Newquay, Cornwall. We're proud to offer memorable holiday experiences for our guests and are now in the process building a new facility on site, Newquay Rocks. A new year-round activity centre, accommodating a family climbing facility, soft play, gym, coffee shop and community event space.

The role

To help with the smooth running of the coffee shop within Newquay Rocks, providing friendly customer service, preparing and serving food and drinks, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and supporting the wider team during busy periods.

· Welcoming customers and providing friendly helpful service

· Taking customer orders on the tills and payments accurately and efficiently

· Preparing and serving hot drinks, cold drinks, snacks, and light food items to a high standard

· Keeping the coffee shop clean, tidy, well-stocked, and presentable throughout the day

· Following food hygiene, allergen, health and safety, and safe working procedures

· Helping with stock rotation, checking dates, and reducing waste

· Supporting customers with questions, allergen information, and general enquiries in a professional manner

· Working as part of a team during busy service periods, events, group bookings, and parties

· Supporting wider Newquay Rocks operations when needed, while keeping the coffee shop as the focus of the role

Who We're Looking For:

We’re looking for friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic team members who enjoy working with people and can help deliver a great coffee shop experience for our guests and local community.

· Previous experience in a coffee shop, café, hospitality, retail, or customer-facing role

· A friendly and approachable manner with customers and colleagues

· A positive attitude and willingness to learn

· Ability to work well as part of a busy team

· Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and customer service

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment during busy periods

· Good communication skills and a calm, professional approach

· Reliable, punctual, and able to use initiative

Although experience is helpful, full training will be provided.

We will conduct full DBS checks, for all team members working within Newquay Rocks
