Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Liaison Administrator to join our healthcare team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth communication between patients and medical staff, providing exceptional administrative support, and enhancing patient experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and prior office experience. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a compassionate healthcare environment while developing professional skills within a supportive team.

Duties

Act as the primary point of contact for patients, answering queries via phone, email, and in person with professionalism and empathy
Schedule appointments and manage patient records accurately using our electronic health record system
Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate patient care and follow-up appointments
Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing correspondence
Ensure compliance with confidentiality and data protection regulations at all times
Support the preparation of patient documentation and assist in the organisation of clinic workflows
Maintain a welcoming environment for patients and visitors, ensuring their needs are addressed promptly

Skills

Proven office experience, demonstrating organisational efficiency and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in British English
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations tactfully
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar programmes
Ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy healthcare setting
