Casual Event Crew – Food and Beverage

About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and customer-focused Casual Event crew to join us at St Michaels Resort.
Working across a variety of events including weddings, conferences, private functions and corporate events, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional experiences for our guests. No two shifts are the same, making this an exciting opportunity for people who enjoy working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
With flexible hours to suit your availability, this role is ideal for anyone looking to gain hospitality experience, earn extra income or work around other commitments. It is also a fantastic opportunity for those studying Event Management, Hospitality, Tourism or related courses who want to gain valuable hands-on experience alongside their studies.
Key Responsibilities
Bar Service
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked bar area.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to licensing laws and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
Waiting & Event Service
- Set up event spaces, tables and service stations.
- Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional table service.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.
- Clear tables and maintain cleanliness throughout events.
- Assist with room resets and event breakdown following service.
General Duties
- Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and event managers to ensure the smooth running of events.
- Follow all health, safety and food hygiene procedures.
- Represent St Michaels Resort professionally and maintain high standards of appearance and conduct.
- Support other departments as required during events.

Previous experience in hospitality, bar or waiting roles is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided, so we are looking for people with the right attitude, enthusiasm and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
