Overview
We are seeking a skilled Alloy Wheel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with hand and power tools, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. This role involves repairing, refurbishing, and maintaining alloy wheels to the highest standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and physical endurance are essential.

Duties

Repair and refurbish alloy wheels using specialised tools and techniques
Perform inspections to identify damage or defects on wheels
Use hand tools and power tools to remove, repair, or replace damaged components
Conduct maintenance on wheel repair equipment to ensure optimal performance
Assist customers with enquiries regarding wheel repairs and maintenance services
Carry out heavy lifting of alloy wheels and related materials safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean and organised workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations
Painted and Diamond Cut
Document work performed accurately for quality control and record keeping

Experience

Proven experience as an alloy wheel technician or in a similar mechanical role is preferred
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components related to alloy wheels
Familiarity with hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and specialised wheel repair tools
Experience operating power tools safely in a workshop environment
Previous experience with vehicle maintenance or automotive repairs is advantageous
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, demonstrating physical strength and stamina
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients

This role requires a dedicated individual who is organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working physically demanding shifts. Candidates should be committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in all aspects of their work.

Pay: £35,000.00 per year
