Do you enjoy talking to people, staying organised, and being part of a busy team where no two days are the same?
We’re looking for a confident and proactive Trainee Sales Administrator to join our growing Sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys speaking with customers over the phone, keeping things organised behind the scenes, and learning how a fast-moving sales environment works.
You don’t need years of experience — we’re looking for personality, confidence, enthusiasm, and someone who genuinely enjoys communicating with people.
What You’ll Be Doing
This is not a “sit quietly and file paperwork” kind of admin role.
A big part of the role involves speaking with existing and prospective clients over the phone, helping manage enquiries, following up quotations, and supporting the wider sales process from first enquiry through to handover.
You’ll be:
- Handling incoming enquiries from clients and referral platforms
- Speaking with customers by phone and email every day
- Supporting the Sales team with quotations and proposals
- Keeping our CRM system organised and up to date
- Following up quotations and maintaining client contact
- Helping coordinate information between Sales, Admin, Operations, and Engineers
- Learning how sales opportunities progress from enquiry to completed work
- Supporting campaigns, reporting, and general sales administration
What We’re Looking For
We want someone who:
- Is confident and comfortable speaking on the phone
- Has a friendly, professional, and positive attitude
- Enjoys communicating with people and building rapport
- Is organised and able to juggle multiple tasks
- Has good attention to detail
- Is comfortable using Outlook, Excel, and computer systems
- Wants to learn, develop, and grow within a business
Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, call handling, or office administration would be helpful — but attitude and communication skills are just as important.
What You’ll Get
- Full training and ongoing support
- Real career development opportunities
- Experience working within a professional Sales environment
- Exposure to CRM systems, quotations, proposals, and client management
- A supportive and friendly team
- A role where your contribution genuinely matters
If you’re organised, confident on the phone, and ready to start building your career in a busy and supportive environment, we’d love to hear from you.
Please note: We are not seeking support from recruitment agencies at this time. Any unsolicited CVs will not be considered.
