PEARL Fit-Out require an experienced bench joiner to join our expanding shop fitting and joinery manufacturing business.
This position is for 39 hours per week Monday-Friday, overtime will be available occasionally.
Our workshop is based in Portsmouth. Rates of pay to be discussed, depending on experience. Immediate start.
Main Responsibilities will include:
- Manufacture and assembly of bespoke joinery
- Occasional work on site to install manufactured joinery
The ideal candidate must have the following skills and experience:
- Fully trained to NVQ3 or City & Guilds Advanced Craft
- Ability to interpret drawings
- Work well as part of a team
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
- Experience of solid surface fabrication
- Full UK Driving Licence
The candidate should also:
- Have at least 5 years joinery or shop fitting experience
- Be able to use their own initiative and have enthusiasm
- Be well organised, methodical and positive
- Excel operating in a fast paced commercial environment
