Location: Based near Fareham (PO15 5DA)

Position: Full-Time

About UsAJ Electrical Services is a highly accredited electrical contractor (NICEIC Approved, Constructionline Gold, and RISQS Verified). We pride ourselves on our slogan: ‘Your Power, Our Passion’. We provide high-quality electrical solutions across various sectors and are looking for motivated individuals to join our growing team.The Role

We are seeking a hardworking, sociable, flexible and dedicated Electrician's Mate. You will work alongside our experienced electricians in commercial, industrial and rail environments.

This role is not part of an apprenticeship programme.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

Age: 18+ (due to insurance and site requirements).
Location: Must live within 10 miles of PO15 5DA.
License: Must hold a full UK Driving License.
Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours to meet project deadlines.
Personality: Sociable, a good communicator, and a team player.
Attitude: Proactive, eager to learn, and reliable.

Beneficial if you have:

CSCS or ECS Card: This is the "passport" for construction sites. If you already have a green Laborer’s card or a white Apprentice/Assistant card, it shows you are "site-ready."
Health & Safety Awareness: Mention any basic safety training (e.g., manual handling, working at heights, or first aid).
Tools: If you own your own basic hand tools (pliers, screwdrivers, etc.) and a pair of steel-toe boots, mention it. It shows you're serious about the trade
