The White Hart at Fyfield is an independent restaurant renowned for its culinary excellence, set in the picturesque village of Fyfield. Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our talented team at The White Hart. This role is vital in supporting our kitchen operations and maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks to support kitchen staff.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly stored and maintained.
Support stock rotation and inventory management.
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Help with receiving deliveries and storing supplies appropriately.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is required.
Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
Enthusiasm for learning about food preparation and kitchen operations.
Positive attitude and reliable work ethic.
Knowledge of health and safety standards in a kitchen setting is advantageous.

Rota is 4.5 days and would usually involve 3 evenings and 5 day times or 4 evenings and 4 daytimes.

Live in accommodation available.

Full-time hours: 45 per week.
